Since many destinations are temporarily closed, please contact the destination before reserving or using a pass. We will add more passes to our reservation system as they become available.

Museum Pass Borrowing Policy

The pass may be reserved up to 3 months in advance of the desired date. The pass is borrowed for 3 days (day it is picked up, the day the pass is used and the day to return it) and must be returned to the library 45 minutes prior to closing time of the day it is due back (may not be put in book drop). Please call museums or check their websites in advance of your visit to determine the hours that they are open. There will be a late charge of $20 per day. In the event of a non-return of a pass the library will add the entry cost to your record.

Reservations for all museum passes with the exception of the Long Island Children’s Museum and The Children’s Museum of Manhattan can be made online or at the Reference Desk. 1) Passes may only be borrowed by Hicksville UFSD residents (LIBRARY CARD NEEDED) who are over 18 years old who are clear of $5.00 fines and over.
2) Only one museum pass kit can be reserved at one time per address or family.
3) One per family in a 1 month period.
4) The library has the right to monitor usage to ensure fairness and access for the greatest number of families.

 

 
Empire Pass

The Empire Pass is your key to all-season enjoyment at New York State Parks. It provides unlimited day-use vehicle entry to most facilities operated by New York State Parks and the State Department of Environmental Conservation including forests, beaches, trails and more. New York Hall of Science - Temporarily closed until 2021

The New York Hall of Science pass allows for free admission for two adults and six children. The benefits include free parking, free coat check, free access to the science playground, gree access to the rocket mark mini golf, and discounted tickets to the 3D theater.

The Heckscher Museum of Art

Holocaust Museum and Tolerance Center of Nassau County - Temporarily closed

New York Transit Museum - Temporarily closed

Founded in 1976, the New York Transit Museum is dedicated to telling and preserving the stories of mass transportation – extraordinary engineering feats, workers who labored in the tunnels over 100 years ago, communities that were drastically transformed, and the ever-evolving technology, design, and ridership of a system that runs 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
The Transit Museum is located in a decommissioned subway station at the corner of Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street in Downtown Brooklyn and accessible by over 20 bus and subway lines. The entrance to the Museum is down two flights of stairs. A second, wheelchair-accessible entrance is located on the corner of Schermerhorn and Court Streets.
