Free Shred Day You can bring 3 standard sized boxes or 3 bags (paper or clear plastic) per person. Paper, credit cards, staples, clips, and CDs are okay. Shredding is done right in front of you on a first come, first served basis, until the truck is full. For Hicksville residents.  

Closed on Memorial Day The Hicksville Public Library will be closed on Sunday, May 28 and Monday, May 29 in observance Memorial Day. 

Hicksville Library Budget Passes The Hicksville Public Library 2025/2026 Budget has passed with 1612 yes votes and 508 no votes. The Library also welcomes new Library Trustee, Margaret Breiman.
