When Adrian Rizzo was attacked and almost killed by the man she would later find out was her father, she decided to stay strong and not let this change the course of her life. She vowed then to be strong and follow her mother's and grandparents' examples. Healthy living, a strong work ethic, and making good friends would be the foundation for her future life course.

Then the threatening poems arrived, and Adrian had no clue to who would hate her enough to want to take her life. She did not want to live her life in fear, but each year the poems were getting more sick and evil.

This book was an edge-of-your-seat read that I really enjoyed. Nora Roberts does it again.
