Hoopla is a web and mobile library media streaming platform that allows library patrons to borrow free audio books, comics, e-books, movies, music, and TV shows. All titles are available instantly with no wait times. Hicksville Public Library cardholders who sign up for Hoopla are given 8 free borrows every month to use.

Getting Started

Signing up is easy! Visit hoopladigital.com and find the "Get Started Today" button, or use the free Hoopla app on your iOS or Android devices. You will need to supply an email address and a password to create an account. Make sure to select Hicksville as your home library when prompted and provide a valid Hicksville library card barcode. BingePasses allow you unlimited access to certain content for a 7 day period using just one of your borrows. Currently Hoopla offers BingePasses for Curiosity Stream, The Great Courses, Hellosaurus (Kids 2-8), and its collection of 50+ popular magazines.
