Women's Suffrage Online Exhibit Now Available on New York Heritage

The online exhibit, Recognizing Women’s Right to Vote in New York State, is now available to view at New York Heritage Digital Collections!

Library Budget

Thank you for your support! The Library Budget has passed with 1,048 yes votes to 316 no votes. Gurbani Malhotra was elected to the Board of Trustees.

Mystery History Picture

This house is believed to be on Newbridge Rd and West Marie Street in January 1958. Photograph taken by Harold Kelly who thought it may have been a general store at one time. Does anyone have any further information on this photo? The exact location? What was it?

The Hicksville Archives

The Hicksville Archives is pleased to put on display the Martin Brandfon collection.

Mr. Brandfon attended Hicksville High School from 1964 to 1967 and was a lineman on the undefeated varsity football team that finally won the Rutgers cup for 1966. 

Keeping a collection of mementos from his youth, Mr. Brandfon recently donated them to the Archives thus helping to preserve Hicksville History.

The Archives hopes to later share other aspects of the Brandfon collection throughout the coming spring.
