Hoopla is a web and mobile library media streaming platform that allows library patrons to borrow free audio books, comics, e-books, movies, music, and TV shows. All titles are available instantly with no wait times. Hicksville Public Library cardholders who sign up for Hoopla are given 8 free borrows every month to use.
Kanopy is an online video streaming platform with 30,000 movies. This includes documentaries, indie, and foreign films from over hundreds of producers including The Criterion Collection, The Great Courses, Kino Lorber, PBS, and thousands of independent filmmakers. Users are limited to 5 videos streamed every month.
